As part of the O.S.C.A.R (One Small Change Achieves Results) campaign throughout 2010, each month I will be focusing upon a different element of life and helping you to make the one small change that will make a big difference to you.
January is focusing upon Identity.
Do you know your eggs?
I've always loved a good chick flick and I recently watched the Runaway Bridge for the umpteenth time. I think this was one of Julia Roberts' best roles and as Maggie, I really felt for her awkwardness and desperate ability to please her numerous husband-to-bes!!!
There was one particular scene that sticks in my mind after she rejected Ike (played by Richard Gere) who in no uncertain terms told her that she didn't really know who she was and who she wanted. It was true, as Maggie had lost all sense of self by trying to be who she thought her potential husbands wanted her to be.
This sent Maggie on a voyage of discovery and one in particular scene, she sits at a table with a variety of egg dishes trying out each one to find out her favourite.
At the end of this journey, Maggie proposes to Ike again, proudly telling him that she likes Eggs Benedict (no other kind) as well as all the other things she has discovered about herself.
So this month, do a Maggie Carpenter.
Rediscover yourself.
Reconnect with what YOU really like doing.
What you really like eating.
What you really like reading or listening to.
Don't think about what is expected of you by other people, think about what you enjoy and love in life and what makes you YOU.

Winning Women is back!
After months of trying to find a suitable venue for the group coaching club - the answer was staring me right in the face. Why on EARTH was I thinking of using a different venue, when the room I use at the Associated Contemporary Therapists clinic in Cardiff is ideal?
After running it past Leilah this morning I am delighted to announce the Winning Women Life Club is back! The Club will start running on Saturday 21 November, starting at 11am.
I will be using my specially developed I CAN DO IT life coaching programme, which essentially is the eight steps you need to take when changing your life and achieving your goals.
So ladies, if you have the commitment to change - I have the club for you!
I'm updating the WW webpage soon, so click here for further information on the class.

Christmas Wishes
After spending a fair bit of time deciding and designing, I have finally launched the "Christmas Wishes" gift experiences. I have blended the life coaching, meditation and relaxation solutions to offer women the opportunity to try something new and get 2010 off to a great start!
So if you are looking for an alternative Christmas gift for the woman who has everything, purchase a Christmas Wish gift experience.

Back To School....And A Great Learning Experience!
I have spent the morning at a local school (via the local Education Business Partnership) working with Year 10 pupils to set up their own business and market a confectionery product of their choice.
It was my first time attending such an event and it was a real eye-opener - not just being back in school, but how things had changed since I left secondary education some ?&^^&& years ago!
Gone were the blackboards, now replaced with state of the art interactive whiteboards and ceiling mounted projectors. Posters adorning the walls promoting achievement and a real team spirit ethos which reflected in each of the pupils attending the school.
I wasn't sure how receptive a group of 14-15 year olds would be to local business people coming into their classrooms and advising them, but I was pleasantly surprised. The pupils I worked with were a happy bunch and most welcomed the input from local business reps to ensure they were meeting all the tasks set out in the given scenario.
Choosing a winner at the end of the morning was tough, as all pupils had put in a lot of effort and some of the ideas were an inspiration and I wouldn't be at all surprised if some of the products were gracing supermarket shelves in a few years' time.
Personally, I found the experience really rewarding and can't wait to do it again - if only to sample the school dinners which have much improved over the years!

Comments Please!
As my previous blog entry mentioned, I have been spending a fair bit of time promoting my practice and trying to "spread the word" about the positive effects coaching can have for women.
I have reviewed, re-reviewed and reviewed again the content of my website to the point that I am going cross-eyed!
I would really appreciate a fresh set of eyes looking at my website to get some feedback.
What do you like?
What could be improved upon or developed a little more?
What didn't you like and should be removed?
To help give feedback, I have drafted a brief seven question survey to gauge the responses.
As a thank you for responding to the survey, you will be offered a FREE 30 minute telephone coaching session if you respond by 30 April 2009. So get firing with the feedback!

Ladylifecoach is a blogger!
I have spent the last few weeks concentrating my time on marketing and promoting my coaching practice.
After spending a considerable amount of time on research, talking to former and current clients as well as my peers, I have developed a number of new initiatives that will hopefully be more accessible for women in this current economic climate.
This blog is one of the results of my research and I hope to all of you who read it will find it inspiring and informative.
